Aev, Glory

Glories are tall, masculine humanoids with bronze skin, silver eyes, and large, white, feathered wings. They wear golden loincloths and carry greatswords. Their manner is blunt, without guile or subterfuge, and they dislike those traits in others.
Glories prefer straightfoward melee battle, eschewing ranged combat and stealth. Their lack of guile is their weakness; fiends have learned that glories without a grace can be easily misled, since glories do not indulge in deception and do not expect it in others. A glory that proves exceptionally skillful and intelligent in battle sometimes transforms into a grace.
Glories speak Celestial and Common.
COMBAT
Glories attack the first evil they see. Their attacks are direct and powerful – an aev does not hold back from an opponent.
Smite Evil (Su): Once per day a glory can make a smite evil attack, doing +4 damage to an evil foe.
Telepathy (Su): A glory can communicate telepathically with any creature within 90 feet that has an Intelligence score of at least 1. The creature can respond to the glory if it wishes - no common language is needed. A glory can communicate with any other glory it can see.
Outsider: A glory has darkvision (60-foot range). It cannot be raised or resurrected.
GLORY CHARACTERS
A glory’s favored class is fighter. A few exceptional glories are monks or rangers. Glories are almost never barbarians, bards, druids, rogues, sorcerers, or wizards.
