Te is the first god. It was Te that called the Elder Host from the Nothing at the beginning of time, and it is Te that will call them back to the Nothing when their time is ended. In the time between, he will speak only once, to mark a turning, or revival, or renewal.

That time was twenty-five years ago, and his words, "So it begins", were heard by every sentient being native to the Wyrld. As prophesied, his words ended the many bindings and restrictions the Elder Host had placed upon other beings over the ages; all true dragons regained the ability to breath fire and change shape; the dan si are able to enter the Wyrld en masse; and the god of fire and destruction, awoke from his ensorcelled sleep.

Te does not have priests. He does not communicate with any being in any fashion, and is exempt from the politics and maneuverings of the collected divinities. No known deity will harm him, and in the unfathomable event that he is threatened, there is little doubt that the entire host of gods and goddesses will come to his aid.

Although Te is the first god, he is not worshipped as a creator. The legends and myths around him maintain that he summoned, not created, the Elder Host -- though how they could have been present in the Nothing is unknown, and where Te himself came from is an equal mystery. A few cults believe he is a personification of the Wyrld, or its servant, but adherents are few and not taken seriously by most scholars.
