Brigit appears as a five-and-a-half-foot tall woman with fiery red hair and green eyes, carrying a harp and wearing a longsword called Flamesong. Her clothing is clean and stylish, suitable to a sucessful travelling minstrel. Single notes plucked from a harp (yet with no harp visible), or a harp string, or a candleflame burning with no fuel or support are all common symbols of her attention.

She is an active, caring, and involved deity. She is one of the eldest of the Dalerain, and opposes the burning oppression of Umoth, Cheneitha’s cold stagnation, and Kajalla’s theft of vitality. She shares an interest in fire and creativity with Catil, (though his interest is limited to artifacts), a love of word and lore with Ados, and her love of music with Teleri.

Brigit expects her worshippers to oppose evil and destruction whenever possible. She is worshipped by musicians, poets, women, writers, bards, good-aligned fire elementalists, anyone seeking inspiration, and those seeking refuge from darkness or oppression.
